Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Istanbul, Turkey for a Tourism Department Supervisor. The Tourism Department Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Tourism Department, including managing staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and overseeing departmental budgets. The Tourism Department Supervisor will work closely with other members of the management team to develop strategies that support the growth and development of the department, and will ensure that all customer needs are met with exceptional service.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the tourism industry or a related field.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, staff, and management at all levels.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.

Fluency in Turkish and English, both spoken and written.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, including budgets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.

Job Requirements: 

Fluent in English, Turkish and Arabic. 

Previous experience in the field of tourism and hotel management. 

Strong ability to communicate and interact with customers and employees. 

Excellent organizational skills and time management ability. 

The ability to make the right decisions and solve problems effectively. 

Advanced knowledge of the tourism industry and tourist places in Türkiye. 

Ability to work under pressure and achieve set goals. 

Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
