QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for qualified and experienced additions to our team to fill the role of Sales Specialists for a U.S based technology startup.


Job Description:

- Devise and execute a personal plan and prioritize sales activities and customer / prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including profitability and sales targets

- Develop and execute plan for lead generation, new business, sales, and other matters related to profitable new revenue generation

- Provide feedback to the business in order to optimize quality of service, business growth, and ultimate client satisfaction

- Identify, qualify and support sales opportunities

- Be part of a team for all tender or proposal activities, generating a professional and timely response to the client

- Support and leverage field marketing, product launches, product promotions and other lead or revenue generating activities

- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information

- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions as necessary to perform duties and aid business development

- Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions


Preferred Requirements:

- Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills

- Proven and demonstrable record of achievement in a new business environment

- Competency with standard productivity tools and familiarity with CRM solutions

- Ability to attend meetings abroad

- Effective time and personal productivity management

- Proficiency in English

- Fluency in French, Arabic is a plus

- Background in Software or Finance is preferred

- Experience doing sales in African countries is a plus
