We are looking for a Accouting Chief to be based in YILPORT Holding Konteyner Terminal Gebze. 

Qualifications 

 • University degree with a major in finance or accounting professional qualifications, 

 • 8+ years of professional experience within accounting area , holding CPA certificate is a plus 

 • Former experience as an Accounting Supervisor/Chief Accountant would be a plus

 • Expertise in accounting processes and internal controls 

 • Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles 

 • Experience of working in a shared services finance is a plus 

 • Advanced level of mainframe programs (SAP, Microsoft Office) 

 • Excellent command of English both written and spoken 

 • Proven experience in managing a team 

 • Proactive and analytical profile with management skills 

 • A good team player with outstanding communication skills 

 • No military obligations for male candidates 

Responsibilities

• Perform close procedures on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis 

• Close cooperation with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams 

• Perform financial statement reviews, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions 

• Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial information is presented at period-end 

• Provide audit support (internal and external) 

• Monitoring investment incentive documents 

 • Following up VAT refund process with Sworn-in CPA 

• Review processes in order to implement changes that will result in a more efficient and effective process 

• Responsible for all items relating to the team. Performance, HR, vacation approvals, etc
