Job description

Routing & Packaging

Responsible for routing and packaging of wiring harness including:

-Routing and package investigations on CATIA to verify that the customer’s specifications (SDS) have been fulfilled

-Preparation of 3D wiring harness designs (master packages) in the Ford CAD systems CATIA according to customer specifications

-Carry out CAD assembly investigations together with the responsible project engineers in virtual vehicle assembly rooms and preparation of the corresponding documentation.

-Work out solutions for design problems and prepare design proposals in CATIA within the framework defined by the customer

-investigations in Digibuck to verify that customer specifications have been fulfilled (SDS,MES)

- design to cost to achieve customer cost targets

- timely implementation of design changes within the framework of the prototype and series build phases

ensure the wiring harnesses can be assembled into the vehicle (DFM/DFA)

Change Management: Agree on and implement design changes according to the change management procedure

Prototype Builts: Support supplier and customer prototype builds

On-Site Support: On-site development support at customer's location

Communication: Communication wıth Production Plants when required for design issues.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical education faculty

·         Good self-organization and resilience

·         2-5 years experience in similar positions

·         Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 level is required)

·         Advance knowledge of CATIA & MS Office

·         For male candidates, military service should be completed

·         Willing to travel abroad
