We are looking for Category Buyer Equipment and Site Cost for our engineering office in YKHT -( HUB Turkey), Tuzla- İstanbul.

What You’ll Do

Frequent reporting of Supply Management related tasks by conducting regular project review and Roadmap meetings.

Periodically reporting of cost saving status and achieved cost improvement performance by using the established Supply Management templates and tools.

Responsible for assigned Equipment and Site cost ( construction) and its corresponding supplier base in YEMEA.

Define and implement category / sub-category strategy. Review supplier base, define robust preferred supplier base, reduce number of suppliers and bundle business accordingly.

Follow overall SM Saving and Cost Avoidance targets, benchmark responsible category spend frequently (min. 2 times / year), identify potentials, lead supplier negotiations and implement potentials accordingly.

Ensure data transparency and high data quality in all Yazaki Purchasing used systems (e.g. SAP)

Follow Yazaki Procedures (e.g. Sourcing Approval), work and cooperate closely with Local Indirect Purchasing teams and ensure compliance across all Purchasing activities. 

Improve and implement standardization for assigned category (standard documents used by all YEL affiliates)

Contract Management - ensure transparency in regards to all contracts, reviewing terms and validities frequently.

Global alignment with Yazaki North America (YNA)

Required Qualifications of Ideal Candidate 

-Engineering or Business Administration combined with technical background or skills, or equivalent Master or Bachelor Degree as a commercial / economical fields

- Robust experience (4 – 6 years) in the automotive industry (preferred) or any other industries, where the candidate has conducted purchasing activities, in best case in Equipment and Site cost ( Construction)

- The candidate has been part and has conducted negotiation projects (experienced with negotiations and contract management of

   international and local suppliers), where cost savings have been achieved and where strong skills (ability to analyse complex data and

   develop strategies) have been demonstrated.

- Excellent presentation skills, well organized and knowing how to set priorities. 

- Demonstrate high personal motivation and ability to develop practical or innovative alternative approaches to meet objectives.

- High analytical skills and willing to achieve results in a team environment,

- Self motivated, independent, focussed on results, enthusiastic, committed and must be a good listener and observer,

- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

- Male candidates should have completed military service
