Now for our Istanbul XXXLutz Office in Bakirkoy, we are looking for

A Sourcing Manager 

in Hardgoods & Home Utilities Category

Our Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a reputable university, 
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience preferably in sourcing Hardgoods & Home Utilities items such as plastics, kitchenware, glassware, decorative items, household, cutlery, tableware, and garden plastic items etc. 
• Fluent in Turkish and English, German is a plus, 
• Knowledge & understanding of manufacturing process & procedures, 
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, 
• Very good knowledge of MS Office Applications, 
• Able to make domestic and international travels, 
• Able to work as a part of a team, and individually,
• Valid driving licence,

Your scope of responsibilities:

Responsibilities and tasks may include, but are not limited to: 

• Searching for new suppliers and products within given category
• Negotiating prices and commercial conditions with domestic and foreign suppliers
• Cooperation with import department, logistics and supply chain departments
• Supervision over quality and optimization of the logistics of purchased products
• Current cost analysis in the supply chain
• Prepare buying trip itineraries for visiting buyers and arranging visits to vendors and factories properly. 
• Meeting with Buyers in Germany and Austria and visiting stores, fairs and exhibitions with them. 
• Negotiate the most favourable buying terms and ensure all commercial agreements and contracts terms are clearly negotiated with suppliers. 
• Ensure disciplined and accurate follow up and tracking of all orders to ensure they are delivered to the required quality level, on-time and in the full quantities ordered.
• Adequate internal communication with relevant teams such as Buyers, Supply Chain, QA, Import Office.
