Skills and Education the IT Service Desk Analyst need to have:

• Service attitude; the absolute will to excel in delivering service; see the end-user as your customer

 • Understand business processes to align them with the IT systems

 • Analytic; find the root cause quickly

 • Resistant to stress 

• Negotiate, manage and plan; set the right priorities, escalate when needed 

• Basic IT knowledge (like about networking, hardware, Windows10, Office365, SAP)

 • English; you support your customer in the mother language, but you communicate to other IT colleagues in English 

• Understanding a procedural way of working; willing to learn ITIL (foundation)

 • Bachelor degree in the related area 

Tasks to be fulfilled by the IT Service Desk Analyst are: 

• Support users of IT systems by • Solving problems • Instructing and advising • Communicating. 

• Escalating and monitoring the progress of issues that cannot be solved by the IT Service Desk.

 • Advising colleagues of the Centres of Excellence or external suppliers to solve problems or improve IT systems

. • Logging issues and solutions 

• Documenting and reviewing knowledge

 • Maintaining the database of IT assets (CMDB)

 • Purchasing, preparing and delivering hard- and software

 • Rolling out new IT systems (hardware and software)
