QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Technology Centers& Energy Systems Design and Implementation Snr. Specialist with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Tech.Centers&Energy Syst. Services Manager of Vodafone Turkey.
The accountabilities of this role are:
- Design, implement and follow up power, cooling, structured cabling and floor layout, by considering industry standards, requirements and best practices in line with the budget
- Coordinate vendor and subcontractor activities
- Communicate with internal customers to address their requirements and needs
- Plan and implement energy saving and cost cutting projects
- Plan and conduct audit & assessments in periodical frequencies at technology centers in perspectives of Site Efficiency & Optimization (As per CFD and PUE), Site Security& Resilience (Redundancy level, risks) and Information Security (in line with ISO 27001)
- Have good knowledge on data center physical infrastructure standards by global organizations TIA, ASHRAE, IEC..etc
- Plan project work flows, project organization and timeline and make essential revisions in the project scope and timeline
- Fulfill floor layout planning of each technology center and capacity provisioning of Infrastructure and Energy systems
- Provision the cost of each design activity and forecast future site requirementsMake essential reporting to Vodafone Group IT, NW Core teams etc.
- Prepare periodic project progress reports/system status reports
- Prepare the engineering plans and site technical design packages/specs. for infrastructure and energy systems
- Create plans for system deployments at technology centers
- Fulfill desing assessment and risk&gap analysis at the existing technology centers
- Generate floor layout and site cabling design
- Do capacity planning on power and cooling infrastructures
- Prepare technical product specifications and installation guidelines
- Negotiate technical issues with vendors,manufacturers and suppliers
- Make essential tests and on-site trials/PoC for infrastructure equipment
- Follow up the field deployments of project/program phases
- Coordinate installation/decommissioning/re-homing of infrastructure and energy systems at existing and new mission critical centers
- Accomplish project on time and within budget
- Monitor/track/report progress of project plans/milestones
- Implement assessment deliverables to boost site efficiency
- Conduct and supervise installation subcontractors onsite
- Communicate with stakeholders at NW, IT and other internal customers
- Search new generation systems and best practices for OPEX saving and cost effectiveness
- Apply and deploy energy efficiency initiatives and methods at the technology centers
- Improve the site efficiency, lowering the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) metric
- Make forecasts for CAPEX and OPEX of energy related items and projects
- Follow up the energy comsumptions of the technology centers

- Good knowledge and experience on the infrastructure technologies , power, cooling systems, structured cabling and site floor layout optimisation and design of switching centers and data centers
- Electrical-Electronical Engineering (ITU, YTU, IU, etc)
- Experience at least 5 years in a similar organization
- Coordination and organization ability, team-work approach
- Fluent in English
- GSM network/IT environment knowledge
- Candidates with renewable energy and alternative energy knowledge preferred
