We are seeking a Access Network L3 Opr. & Supp. Senior Specialist with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Access Network L3 Opr. & Support Manager of Vodafone Turkey. 

 The accountabilities of this role are:

  • Troubleshoot with the Radio Access Network problems with an end to and network vision, according to defined SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot Radio Access Network problems according to defined SLAs.
  • Investigate and identify generic problems and deciding severity level of these problems and result of these progress raises Service Request (SR) or WOR to the relevant Vendor or internal departments. As a result of the process, follow-up the status of SR and WORs. Provides 7x24 On-call Support for the operation.
  • Creates software tools, scripts, database and web pages. Provides administrative and operational support for the present tools and scripts.
  • Seeks automation opportunities in operational activities.
  • Meet with the vendors regularly to communicate about the problems 
  • Investigate and raise Service Requests to the Vendors regarding to RAN NEs related with Hardware and Software generic problems
  • Request the needed improvements and solutions to solve the service requests.
  • For new technologies and new features, transfers knowhow to operational departments via hands on trainings
  • Prepares high level  RAN related documentation and procedures for other operational departments in the aim of hints and corrections.
  • Generates periodical executive reports regarding to status of the Service Requests(SR) to the related departments
  • Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and works carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations.
  • Ensure that work associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable
  • Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
  • Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,
  • Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,
  • Protect user accounts and associated passwords, and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.
  • Ensure that VFTR BCM policy /standard, procedures, plans implemented and works carried out in compliance with   BS 25999 -2:2007 Standard 
  • Ensure that BCM risks are assessed and mitigated so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
  • Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR

  • Graduate from Electronics, Computer or Telecommunications engineering
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities, ability to multi-task.
  • Work experience in telecom sector with hands on Radio Access networks (with a good understanding of GSM /BSS /UMTS /LTE) is preferred.
  • Knowledge on the most of UNIX, SQL, scripting, Python, HTML, JavaScript, SAP, BO, VB.
  • Good Troubleshooting skills.
  • Significant knowledge of RAN equipment Features & tools.
  • Good command of English.
  • Good reporting and presentation skills
  • Good communication skills. 
  • Ability to adapt to work in multicultural environment
  • Self-motivated and ability to motivate other team members
  • Flexible working hours
