Vestas Eastern Europe and Austria (part of Vestas Northern and Central Europe) is a Sales Business Unit covering Austria and Eastern Europe countries including Romania. We are responsible for the sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas and we aim to make Vestas Central Europe the best place to work.

As a Main Component Techinian, you will be responsible for Main Componen Replacement such as Gearbox, generator, blade, transformer, tower section etc., litfing operations.

Qualifications

• Technical degree (engineering) preferred or equivalent years of highly technical experience,
• Wind tribune main component experience,
• Mechanical or elektrical experience,
• Hands-on job experience in wind tribunes for the mentioned component replacements,
• Valid GWO training,
• Ability to work at heights and in adverse climatic conditions,
• Strong communication and organisation skills,
• Proactive, looking for solutions, Teamwork, Internal and External customer high quality response.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Conducting assembling, installing and servicing wind turbine generators.
• Executing actions as directed by either written and/or verbal instructions.
• Champion safety processes on site including providing recommendations management regarding safety issues.
