Material Planing Engineer

In order to be assigned to the MP&L Department of our automotive subsidiary industry which operates in Tuzla Organized Industrial Zone,  Material Planing Engineer with the following qualifications will be taken.

·         Graduated from Industrial Engineering departments of universities

·         at least 5 years of experience in automotive industry ,

·         Advance level English with writing and speaking skills,

·         Ability to make material planning and inventory management,

·         Competency in foreign trade and customs regulations

·         Having Freedom ERP, preferably SAP knowledge,

·         having knowledge in the operation of MRP system

·         Ability to use MS Office programs actively,

·         Completion of military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Determining, tracking and revising the inventory depending on adequate stock levels and changing inventory conditions, participating in material standardization activities necessary for minimizing inventory costs, evaluating and carrying out the processes by considering variables such as the product/sales program, safety stock, supply period, stock safety etc.
• Executing the material requirement planning according to the production plan and creating the necessary purchase requests,
• Planning and optimizing stock levels of materials,
• Evaluating the current production-stock information, planning of supply according to the estimations of future consumption
• Maintaining raw material and material stock and keeping stock levels under control,
• Follow-up of works in the process, from the production to the loading of the materials and raw materials ordered,
• Ensuring the tracking of the materials shipped by the suppliers,
• Investigating the possible problems that may occur during the material supply process, sharing the actions that should be taken urgently with the related persons,
• Ensuring that the activities related to the delivery, reception, storage and distribution of the purchased materials are performed appropriately,
• Ensuring the accuracy of the product recipes and taking an active role in making the necessary revisions,
• Managing changes in the raw material and material procurement plan and ensuring that the suppliers are informed,
• Making planning and idle inventory management related to new and / or discharged materials.
