About the Role!

The financial controller is responsible for planning and coordinating plant budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site
• Review production variances (materials & labor) with management and help drive to the root cause – in particular help collection of scrap data by area.
• Must work across organizational boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve plant, country, or corporate objectives
• Estimate product costs to support quoting activities
• Ensure correct codifications of expenses are in line with company standards.
• Monitors spending on key categories to include maintenance, supplies, and consumables and supports company initiatives to reduce spending.
• Review Monthly KPI data with management; understand trends and help analyze root causes.
• Calculate cost price of new products based on specific sales requests
• Provide financial requirements and follow up the Capex projects
• Ensure costing accurately reflect production operations

About you!

• Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
• Over 4 years of experience in financial, operational, and business partnering roles
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to respond under pressure
• Experience of working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment is desirable
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Flexible and open-minded, quick to adapt to changing requirements
• Strong communication and report writing skills - Fluent spoken and written English is required
• Very strong work ethic, resilience in the face of pressure, good team player, ability to meet multiple stretching deadlines
• Strong analytical bias and Microsoft Excel skills
• PowerPoint capability
