ANEWS is seeking a Social Media Editor?to join our Creative team. Based in Istanbul. The ideal candidate has experience strategizing, implementing, and managing social media campaigns and is able to demonstrate past success growing brand engagement. If you are passionate and knowledgeable about news; and consistently meet?deadlines on time and with grammatical accuracy, we'd like to hear from you. Grammatical perfection is expected on all final products.

The Social Media Editor will develop social strategies and manage social media tactics that drive engagement, uphold the ANEWS visual brand standards, and help to build community -- while creatively supporting merchandising and marketing goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•                    Schedule and coordinate daily social media posts across all social media channels,

•                    Own and develop community management across the ANEWS social media channels,

•                    Take ownership and initiative on all ANEWS social platforms and social projects,

•                    Distribute editorial content in formats relevant for the different SM channels, implementing a social-native strategy where appropriate,

•                    Edit visual assets (images and video) for Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter ,

•                    Write copy for social media posts and engage with audience,

•                    Project manage marketing activations for all social media channels,

•                    Create dedicated visual assets for social media channels,

•                    Own and share performance reports of SM,

•                    Support the Creative, Digital Marketing, and merchandising teams with ideation, proposals and activations,

QUALIFICATIONS

•                    Bachelor's degree in a related field,

•                    At least 2+ years of relevant experience using Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Pinterest,

•                    Experience in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro,

•                    Experience using social media platforms such as Tweetdeck, Facebook Analytics and Buzzsumo,

•                    Understanding of digital storytelling, social distribution and analytics,

•                    Eager to respond quickly and occasionally at weekends/evenings when there is breaking news,

•                    Confident working independently and productively as a member of a collaborative team,

•                    Open to sharing ideas, accepting constructive feedback to benefit you, your projects and your team,

•                    Full of passion, energy and enthusiasm and eager to work in a fast-paced environment,

•                    Great time management, attention to detail, and multitasking skills,
