Turkish Green Crescent Societyis an independent, non-profit NGO, founded in Istanbul in 1920. It works for the protection of society and particularly protecting young people from tobacco, drugs, alcohol, gambling and technology addictions with scientific and evidence-based public health approaches.

Federation Management Department (FMD) strategically formed by the Turkish Green Crescent Society as anorgan that administers and coordinates the activities of the Secretariat of the International Federation of Green Crescent (IFGC) for driving collective action on addiction prevention and recovery of Country Green Crescents in more than 80 countries around the world. 

We are looking for a professional who is driven, passionate, energetic and ambitious to join us as an “International Projects Specialist” for the FMD team in Headquarter (Sepetçiler Kasrı) organization. 

• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university. Master’s Degree inManagement,Industrial Engineering,Finance, Economyor other fields relevant to project management is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in the international organizations, NGOs, CSOs, governmental bodies or the international relations and operations departments of the corporate companies
• Expert knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel knowledge is a must) and MS-Project
• Experienced in unified communication and collaboration platforms (MS-Teams, MS-CRM etc.)
• Proactive, self-starting, with a positive, assertive and constructive attitude towards getting things done under pressure and also in flexible hours
• High level of analytical & statistical skills and ability to multi-task is an asset
• Sensitivity and responsiveness to differing viewpoints, ensuring respectful relations with colleagues and international partners & contacts with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must. Advanced level of second language (Spanish, Russian, Arabic, French) is an asset
• No restrictions for domestic and international travel
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Active driving license (preferred)
• Not a user of any substance including tobacco, alcohol and drugs
• Willing to work for public health in an international environmentfor a positive change!

• Perform the necessary coordination, management, analyses and reporting of the International Financial Support Program for the 80 Green Crescents
• Lead the research, applications and management of the national/regional and international funding/grant programs for the country Green Crescents
• Researching, monitoring, analyzing and reporting projects and programs under the FMD
• Assist the 80+ Green Crescents in the project funding application and management processes
• Perform and Coordinate the related project management, project development and project funding trainings in online channels and also onsite visits if needed
• To follow-up official correspondence and transactions with national / international institutions / organizations within the scope of their duties
• Preparation of brief notes, presentations, reports and perform anyother tasks as required
