REQUIRED

• Bachelors degree from Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in a Windows Server Administrator Role
• Proficiency in MS Exchange, SCCM, Skype for Business, Teams, File Server, Terminal Server
• Proficiency in Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PKI etc.)
• Proficiency in deploying Windows Servers in VMware ESXi environment
• Proficiency in Powershell
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and yet meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and excellent troubleshooting skills
• Effective in dealing with ambiguity
• Fluency in English

PREFERRED

• 10+ years’ experience in a Windows Server Administrator Role
• Expert knowledge on MS Exchange and Active Directory
• Expert knowledge on MS Failover Clusters and Hyper-V
• Expert knowledge on reference architecture, security hardening and governance of Windows Server Systems
• Proficiency in desktop/application virtualization (preferably in VMware Horizon)
• Proficiency in Web Proxy, DLP, E-Mail Security platforms
• Proficiency in MS Azure
• Knowledge and hands on experience of working with ITIL, Cobit, ISO27001, SOX, PCI DSS standards and Service Management best practices

Job description

• Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for the Microsoft Platforms and Systems Infrastructure, ensuring Installation, Management, Maintenance and Improvement are done properly.
• Provides administration to optimize AD and MS Exchange environment, having 24,000+ Objects, ensuring proper design, version, configuration, redundancy, performance and monitoring.
• Provides Full Utility of MS SCCM Capabilities for an environment of 15,000+ devices.
• Ensures Service Availability & Quality by patch, component, firmware updates and/or technology replacement compliant to the vulnerabilities, hardening and technology plan.
• Establishes monitoring of health status and utilization to identify improvement opportunities and maintain capacity management.
• Develops and maintains custom scripts to increase system efficiency, automate manual tasks, and reduce the human intervention on any tasks.
• Assists as an escalation point for lower levels in incident resolution of MS Platforms and Systems Infrastructure, leveraging pre-defined work instructions for service interruptions
• Leads investigation of advanced root cause analysis techniques for problems, engaging 3rd parties where needed, follows up until fixed solution applied and reports to the management.
• Defines Policies, Procedures and Instructions to ensure system availability, stability, security and integrity
• Performs vendor management for all 3rd parties related to the systems he/she is responsible.
• Performs POCs for new products / technologies, creates scorecards, reports to upper management and deploys according to the project management best practices
• Collaborates with other teams to build, maintain, secure and resolve complex IT Systems.
