We are looking for a creative English Copywriter for our gaming department who can adapt to our young, energetic team and dynamic working atmosphere. You work closely together with the support team of our company Azerion. This position is based in our Istanbul Office (Turkey).

As a copywriter, you will be working together closely with our publishing team to ensure that the written content on our landing pages are top notch. Your game and walkthrough descriptions will help our visitors navigate their online gaming choices. You’re not one to settle for a first draft. You have a keen eye for detail and will proofread every text thoroughly. Your priority is to provide our users the content they are looking for. You will provide game descriptions, meta descriptions, introductions to game walkthroughs and content for landing pages.

Together with our team, you’ll be writing playful and engaging texts for diverse audiences across multiple gaming portals. Occasionally, you might step in to support other teams in their content creation needs.

Excellent language proficiency in English is an essential requirement. If you have a strong interest in online gaming and writing for websites, we’d love to hear from you!

Key responsibilities:

• Writing appealing game descriptions and meta descriptions for multiple online channels

• Writing introductions to game walkthroughs and creating content for landing pages

• Maintaining, correcting, and improving existing copy in line with brand standards

• Learning new skills as needed (e.g. SEO basics, online marketing)

• Supporting other teams by creating and/or proofreading copy for promotional materials or other documents

• Confer with our publishing team & content team to set, maintain, and improve the quality and process of our copy

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Full professional proficiency in English

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Willing to learn and accept feedback from team members

• Organized and able to multi-task and prioritize

• Capable of working independently

• At least 2 years of copywriting experience

This could make you stand out:

• Interest / experience with online gaming is a strong advantage

• Experience as a copywriter is a plus

• Fluency in one of the following languages is a plus: Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch, Russian, German
