Travelbuild is an innovation-based technology and tourism company which has foreseen various problems in the tourism technology sector travel industry and has seen its needs. Combining all of the needs of tour operators and agencies under one roof, it aims to develop a highly marketable tourism distribution system.

We are looking for a “Back-End Developer” as a part of our multi-functional Scrum teams. We are expecting you to be a good team player, detail and customer-oriented to deliver features and products at high quality. You can adopt our continuous improvement philosophy by being in our agile teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering or related discipline
• Min +5 years background on PHP projects is a must. Also experience in security, performance and information optimization of large-scale and high-traffic projects
• Expert in PHP7 with Symfony or Laravel framework
• A very good experience in relational databases and SQL (Doctrine is a plus)
• Understanding of SOA architecture
• Knowledge of code architecture, design patterns, SOLID and other software principles
• Familiarity with codebase testing (unit, integration etc..)
• Experience working with Redis
• Understanding RESTful and SOAP standards. Experience in creation/consume APIs.
• Experience in GIT and familiarity with git-flow
• Experienced in software development life cycle and agile principles
• Enthusiastic team-player as well as a self-starter
• Be curious to search, discuss and learn new technologies

Nice to have

• Bigdata and NoSQL management experience
• Understanding of Linux/nginx
• Using continuous integration tools like Jenkins
• Experience in tourism projects know-how
• Docker, AWS, Elasticsearch or MongoDB
