Accounting Officer

TRANSITEX is a global logistics operator specialized in door-to-door transport, with an extensive range of offices and a network of agents in most of the key world markets.

We are seeking to attract a talented Accounting Officer to our branch in Mersin, Turkey, in order to support our growth strategy.

• Preferably bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related fields,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting functions such as accounts receivable or cash management,
• Having knowledge of standard accounting principles, account tracking and e-invoice application,
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of SAP is plus,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Cooperation with the other business units is essential,
• Strong follow-up, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team worker with good communication skills, result oriented,

• Completed military service for male candidates,
• Located in Mersin.

Job Description:

• Follow up weekly bank reconciliations,
• Process supplier invoices,
• Issue customer invoices,
• Follow up and prepare weekly aging reports and collection,
• Prepare and share weekly vendors payment reports,
• Follow up on bank accounts,
• Conduct monthly reconciliations,
• Follow up on bank accounts,
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
