QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Industrial Refrigeration / HVAC Project & Field Application Executive
- Responsibilities:
- o Design the first cut HVAC solutions in line with customer expectations for all new customer inquiries.
- o Be the first point of contact for technical inquiries of ongoing customers/projects
- o Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new construction projects. Draft new plans to design ductwork and piping systems.
- o Determine costs for heating and cooling systems and write up detailed budget estimates
- o Review plans, specifications, submittals and other contract documents to create a job plan for the successful completion of assigned projects.
- o Schedules and supervises all installation, fabrication and start-up labor on assigned projects.
- o Effective manpower planning for future projects, including direction of specialty subcontractors.
- o Perform job cost tracking and forecasting for final project costs.
- o Procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
- o Control job cost, closely monitoring necessary tasks.
- o Perform monthly job cost reviews reporting profit status to management.
- o Maintain a professional rapport with architects, engineers, building owners, installers and suppliers.
- o Attend necessary job meetings.
- o Assures that contractual obligation have been met and that all close-out documents are submitted.
- o Adhere to Safety Best Practices
- Requirements:
- o Knowledge of construction processes
- o Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping and controls
- o Ability to read and interpret Construction Documents, Plans and Specifications
- o Good interpersonal skills
- o Effective communication skills (written and oral)
- o Must have supervisory skills to plan, direct, organize, and control the activities of others with limited supervision
- o Decisive individual with a strong mechanical aptitude
- o Degree in Engineering is a plus
- o Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- o Good organization skills a must
- o References provided upon request
- o Experience in similar position for at least 3 years a plus
