Job Description: 

Health Worker Duties and Responsibilities 

• Ensure beneficiaries database is always well-maintained, making sure to include all necessary notes, forms and supplementary information through weekly checks and updates to promote efficiency. 
• Meet with beneficiaries, individuals and community organizations as needed to implement reproductive health programs designed for individual use and for groups. 
• Participate in weekly outreach efforts to raise community awareness of reproductive health to disadvantaged groups, such as refugees and low-income populations. 
• Reach out to beneficiaries on a daily basis using a variety of mediums (phone, Skype, in-person) to ensure their participation into the reproductive health programs. 
• Complete administrative tasks on an ongoing basis to ensure proper and organized record keeping, working with staff members when/if necessary. 

Profile & Skills 

• Any combination of 3 years health/social services experience and/or education or accreditation to provide reproductive health awareness raising sessions. 
• Prior experience in working the youth, women, and refugees is an asset. 
• Prior understanding of the region and community to work with is an asset. 
• Prior knowledge of Humanitarian Principles, conflicts setting, IDPs, refugees and Syrian Crisis in Turkey as well as protection frameworks. 
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, including ability to work with diverse group of people 
• Excellent and dynamic facilitation skills both in 1:1 and in a group setting 
• Strong (self-) organizational skills and flexibility particularly in working hours. 
• Ability to meet deadlines, and work under pressure 
• Good knowledge of written and spoken Turkish and Arabic are a must. 
• Kurdish or English is an asset.
