JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Sales Manager is responsible for the total management of the given area for an agent’s brands in Duty Free, including the achievement of sales targets through the management and training of the Beauty Advisors. This will involve creating and implementing sales strategies for incremental growth and maximizing the image of the brands whilst ensuring the highest standards are always achieved. The role also requires establishing and maintaining excellent business relationships with our retail partners to ensure we maximize our Business opportunities.
In addition, this role requires the successful candidate to work extremely closely with the agent’s team to ensure the high levels training and merchandising guidelines are respected and consistent across the area.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Drive successfully the markets with the Travel Retail Operators in the area (today Istanbul,
Antalya, Chisinau, Baku, Moscow and Kiev Airports – area subject to be widen) of the agent’s
brands’ portfolio
b. Meet the monthly sell out targets given by the management
c. Manage and nurture the relation with the Travel Retail Operator’s local teams to expand our
partnership, develop the sales and reach both the quantitative and qualitative targets following
the brands & SKUs performances
d. Provide sales and marketing analysis reports to the agent’s management to enable timely
adjustment and decision-making. Carry out effective management of sales and marketing action
plan (promotional plan), product assortments and sales inventory
e. Manage a team of beauty advisors with a weekly call and a visit to the store on a regular basis
set up incentives program, make sure their targets are reached, train our own Beauty Advisors
and the P&C staff
f. Make sure the merchandising guidelines are respected at all times
g. Make sure that there is no out of stock of both products and testers in all stores
h. Seize local opportunities
i. Train the agent’s staff and the airport staff in the accounts handled and in any other account
if needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should be young and dynamic and of graduate level education or above with strong prestige retail management experience.
Candidates will have multi-site sales and people management expertise, be commercially driven and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the achievement of targets and objectives.
Personal characteristics will include being focused and self-motivated, with excellent communication,
influencing and negotiating skills. There will be a requirement to regularly travel to cover the area.
English language skills is essential, Russian would be appreciated.
Training skills are important as training of the whole BAs staff is one of the key missions.
Travel Retail is a fast paced, pressurised, entrepreneurial and exciting environment and candidates should have a positive, flexible, hands-on and committed approach.
