QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Switch International Izmir Plant is looking for a Service Engineerto provide professional technical assistance on-site and off-site to customers worldwide for all aspects of Switch Bowling Lane Equipments in close cooperation with Customers, Production Management and After Sales Management.
· Electrical Installation Supervision ( Electrical installation due to pre-installation planning /Performing tests and checks at Switch Izmir facility to ensure that equipment is ready for installation prior to shipment /On-site Installation Supervision of Switch Installation Team, customer fitters/electricians or third party contractors /Complete Installation Check Protocol)
· Start-up Assistance (Commissioning after installation is completed /Provide break down and troubleshooting assistance / Maintenance Support on-site at customer site /Provide equipment familiarization training for customers on-site )
· Service reporting for each service activity (Service trip report, time recording, expense report / Feedback about product quality and engineering design after installation / Build good customer relationships and loyalty to Switch during all service activities )
· Perform electrical installation work and repairs
· Provide technical assistance to customers by phone or e-mail
· Assist in updating installed equipment databank
· Assist in maintaining, improving and new developments of customer service
· Bachelor degree in a related fields
· Preferably have relevant work experience minimum 2 years
· Proficiency in operating systems (Microsoft, Linux) and IP networks.
· Proficiency in communication protocols (Serial, COM etc.)
· Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve medium to complex technical issues, IT or Broadcast in real-time.
· Ability to communicate, formulate and report
· Should be enthusiastic and willing to self-learn
· Must be able to handle high pressure multi-tasking situations.
· Fluent English is a must
Notice: This position requires being on call and flexibility to work odd hours during client support windows or as emergencies dictate. Also, regular and frequent domestic and international travel is required.
