We’re looking to add a new member to our Supplier Quality team.

Your Role...

Based in Izmir, responsible for working with Suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Operations for the selection of qualified suppliers and improvement of supplier performance to provide a positive impact on the quality of new and existing products at Stackpole.

Performs quality systems audits and process audits on current and new potential suppliers to ensure compliance to ISO, IATF, VDA 6.3 and Stackpole quality requirements.

Monitor supplier quality and overall performance evaluating supplier rating results, all kind of nonconforming supplier reports (such as 8D), and quality-related key performance indicators (KPI’s), corrective/preventive action responses and root-cause investigations in order to develop effective actionable information.

Assist with new product/supplier launch requirements and/or PPAP as required.  As required, reviews supplier quality controls and supplier documentation with suppliers onsite to ensure that it is being applied and is appropriate to maintain product quality (ie process and control plans, FMEAS, gage R & Rs, SPC/capability studies).   

Conduct capacity and capability assessments, Stackpole property audit at suppliers and supplier maintenance of these items. 

Verification of new tools build, and replacement inserts progress at suppliers (as applicable).

Supports and assists suppliers to improve quality and reduce total cost per part by eliminating waste in the supply chain process. Use 6 sigma and lean manufacturing/lean enterprise tools to drive the results. 

Maintain professionalism during all interactions within Stackpole, customers and supplier personnel.

Your Profile…

A degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Metallurgy and Materials Engineering,

Requires good communication skills in English,

Minimum of 5 years experience in a purchasing automotive manufacturing environment or equivalent,

AITF 16949 1st and 2nd party Lead Auditor certification and/or 2nd party VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certification is preferable,

Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC),

Must possess sound knowledge of GDT drawings, dimensioning and gauging/measuring practices,

Knowledge in legal aspects and contracts of purchasing,

Knowledge of various technical areas (die casting, plastics stamping, etc.)

Complete understanding of purchasing systems and practices, including strong negotiation abilities,

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes with technical attitude,

Strong PC competency demonstrated (Word, Excel, PPS, etc.)
