The position is for a Senior Lınux Administrator who can join us in our Istanbul Ataşehir Office. 

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
• Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
• Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
• Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
• Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
• Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
• Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes

Required Qualifications:

• BSc. in Computer Science or a related area
• In-depth experience with Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Debian, FreeBsd) and hands on experience with MySQL
• Expert experience: Apache (1.x, 2.x) / PHP (4.x, 5.x) / MySQL (4.x, 5.x) / Bind / Exim
• Experience with automation using Bash/CMD/Powershell/Python scripting
• Hands on in-depth experience on:OS: Debian, CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, Mint
• Fundamentals: DNS, Networking, TCP/UDP, IP Routing, Firewall
• Protocols: HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP
• Database: MySQL, MariaDB
• Mail Server: Postfix
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting datacenter hardware
• Core understanding of network, system, infrastructure and cyber security on Linux
• Must be a self-motivated “hands on” type person that is able to multitask
• Must play nicely with others, work solo, and manage his or her own time
• Phone and Email customer support experience
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Automation of deployment (docker, kubernetes, etc)
• Experience working with cloud services like AWS, Azure
• Experience on PHP / MySQL web applications
• Virtualization technologies
