Accounting Specialist

Socotab Yaprak Tütün is a leading oriental tobacco processor and is looking for an ambitious and motivated candidate to join Finance & Accounting team as Accounting Specialist.

Min. 2 years of experience in a similar position and environment.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similiar.

Advanced command of verbal and written English

Strong MS Excel skills (able to write formulas and macros etc.)

Good understanding of ERP (SAP preferred) 

Good knowledge and understanding of local and US GAAP (or IFRS) and relevant legislation and financial practices.

Posting vendor invoices/employee expenses in SAP in line with local and US GAAP principles and company guidelines.

Conducting periodic reconciliations with customers and vendors.

Preparing and supporting tax declaration documents.

Posting monthly payroll based on the summary report received from HR department.

Providing support to month-end closing activities.

Preparing the questionnaires, statistical forms asked by the authorities and making them ready for submission on time.

Supporting annually budget and quarterly forecast process.

Providing support for the preparations for internal and external audits.

Providing support to  CAPEX process and posting CAPEX acquisitions invoices.

Material creation for green and packed tobacco in SAP and posting processing results based on operation team’s processing report.

Preparing fixed-variable expenses report.

Providing support for cost calculation and adjustment process.
