Specific
· Supports the home office on promotional sales drives
· Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the resort by maintaining effective relationships with
hotel colleagues
· Perform any additional duties as requested by the Director of Sales and Marketing
· Be fully conversant with all health, safety, fire and emergency procedures
· Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language
· Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is
represented
· Attend meetings and training as required by the Hotel Management
· Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of local
law

General
· Determine and recommend prospective customers by analyzing all available information
participating in conducting customer interviews and preparing customer action plans
· Solicit group, individual, banquet and other function business directly and jointly with others
through the execution of an action plan
· Within established parameters quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives
confirming reservations by letter and drawing up contracts; to close the transaction
· Upon closing, coordinate and follow-up with conference services and/or other Hotel departments
to ensure delivery of exceptional guest service
· Prepare reports required by Six Senses Resorts & Spas Policy and Procedural Guidelines
· As directed, compile and input market intelligence information
· As directed, participate in trade shows, conventions and promotional events, within the hotel,
the industry and customer organizations
· Participate in designated Six Senses Resorts & Spas training programs

Technical Skills:
· The incumbent should possess very strong interpersonal, computer and selling skills
· Participate and successfully complete training and educational programs made available to Six Senses Resorts & Spas Hosts
· English with ability to communicate clearly
· Knowledge as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial
