We are looking for passionate Software Test ( Quality Assurance ) Engineer/s ( 1D & 3D Simulation Software ) who will be a member of our technology and innovation team responsible for new technology development and innovation projects within our organization. 

What are my responsibilities?

• As a member of a SCRUM team working with Agile principles in a globally distributed software development environment, you will be participating in the development and testing of our innovative Simcenter Amesim simulation software: https://youtu.be/4lme1vo5gAA
• Serve as the testing engineer and quality assurance expert for the scrum team
• Understand the Agile Scrum framework, and values and actively participate as a member of a scrum team
• Design, create, and maintain test cases properly to qualify the contents of epics and capabilities
• Achieve maximum regression test coverage of code modified or created by the scrum team
• Perform system-level manual testing across multiple products
• Improve test specifications by analyzing the root causes of technical issues, and how to develop testing solutions for those root causes
• Acquire customer inputs for testing purposes
• Work with minimal coaching on complex testing tasks and can demonstrate latitude for independent judgment
• Show a moderate level of proficiency across multiple product lines, including products created outside of the scrum team
• Create and apply new approaches as necessary to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing
• Produce high quality and innovative deliverables
• Conform to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
• Very good command of English
• Minimum 2-years of experience in testing professional software products and/or solutions
• Experience in using CAD or CAE software
• Knowledge of Finite Element Code or Finite Element Analysis Theory
• Experience testing complex software systems (manual and automated)
• Experience in writing and editing test scripts ; Java Script, python experience is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of QA in the software development lifecycle
• Experience using the Windows operating system
• Experience using Microsoft Office software
• Familiar with the Linux or UNIX operating system
• Ability to solve complex issues using analytical skills
• Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
• Customer oriented attitude  with high level of Quality Awareness and Creativity
• Attention to details, accurate and methodical
• Team spirit and flexibility
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
