Job Overview :

Calculating unit consumption and creating BOM list for the products. Preparation and delivery of technical information of the products for production and production supporting departments. Organizing the sample production; ordering required materials from warehouse or sourcing, gathering the technical information necessary for sample production and follow-up. Creating product-related input to the ERP-System. Accurate and efficient use of resources, taking into account energy efficiency and continuous improvement in all its activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

·        Creating product and raw material codes in ERP-System,

·        Preparing product bill of materials (BOM) for product development and production, creating work orders for product development,

·        Transmitting the created product recipes to the stakeholder department,

·        Transmitting work orders to the warehouse and cutting, ensuring that material preparation is made on time for sample production,

·        Estimating and creating the product material usage with the CAD-Specialist within the tender information,

·        Forwarding the prepared BOM List to the required units in the ERP-System for pricing,

·        Preparing unit consumptions, collecting standard times to provide information to sales, planning, and purchasing departments,

·        Calculating the need for orders for product development and passing orders to purchasing,

·        Testing the new products/materials with the supporting departments,

·        Making prototype production plan by following incoming materials, notifying deadlines related to orders,

·        Preparing sewing instructions and material charts in line with the cutting plan coming from production, delivering files, samples, and visuals to production,

·        Educating the production and quality department in case of new product entry (SOP) and/or product drawing level changes.

·        Creating requested documents related to sample production,

·        Transferring detailed information to production if sample production will create a bottleneck in production,

·        Creating the packaging instructions within the confirmation of customer demand, determining the filling quantity of a packaging,

·        Carrying out unit consumption optimization studies in production, suggesting different production techniques for cost reduction,

·        Managing the product FMEA process,

·        Managing part number release process with the customer, creating PPAP documents (BeOn, PIA, etc..),

·        Provide all information about sample production to the sales and quality assurance department,

·        Getting extra responsibilities within department, where it is necessary.

·        Achieving individual goals given from the departmental goals in line with company goals,

·        Knowing and taking precautions about the dangers in the requirements of the work,

·        Fulfilling the task defined for him in case of emergency,

·        Supporting projects and improvement works within the scope of the Quality Management System and implementing all procedures in the system,

  Qualifications;

·        Graduation from University, preferably from technical departments,

·        Preferably have 2 years of experience in a similar job,

·        Preferably has textile knowledge and experience,

·        Preferably German and/or English knowledge,

·        Mastering MS Office programs, using effective ERP system,

·    Preferably knowledgeable about quality management system especially in automotive,

·        Has the ability of questioning, continuous improvement and creativity,

·        Has the ability of understanding details and their effect on business,

·        Result and learning oriented, compatible with teamwork, successful in human relations,

·        Customer satisfaction oriented,

Working Conditions: Work in office and production field environment to follow sample production, where necessary.
