Production and Material Planner

We’re looking for a “Production and Material Planner” to work for Selena Turkey in Bolu plant producing and distributing various construction chemicals such as PU foams, sealants, adhesives, waterproofing solutions and others.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities;
This role requires  all material planning for production and also finished product sourcing from various sources timely to support fast sales growth of Selena Turkey
Main tasks within this scope are as follows;

• Planning all kinds of material needed for production
• Make weekly production planning according to orders received from various channels and stock levels, but also taking specific urgencies into account and submit to plant management
• Place the order for supply and purchasing department
• Manage whole sales forecast process for all channels by collecting data and provide feedback about performance
• Follow up deliveries of all items timely from suppliers to plant
• Provide forecast to key suppliers via supply department to ensure availability without any delay
• Take corrective actions in case of shortage in any item by collaborating with supply, production and sales
• Ensure safety levels of all items are up to date depending on change in demand over time and trigger ordering process immediately, when stock level goes below the safety level
• Keep inventory levels at optimum level by collaborating with supply, sales and production
• Meet performance objectives related with inventory (sales speed, slow movers, expired stock etc) and stock rotation, OTIF production and OTIF service
• Prepare periodical reports about work scope for management and HQ
• Ensure  whole inventory accuracy at all times with respect to all SKU’s properties from brand, quantity, expiry date and all other product parameters
• Improve stocking area conditions like the order of products, labeling, for higher productivity
• Make sample checks periodically for real inventory and ERP data matching
• Run whole stock counting process periodically in line with company procedure
• Support supplier upgrade initiatives from various aspects like timely delivery to safety and all others relevant areas
• Undertake various projects under planning and operations productivity
  
• Reports to Production and Planning Manager 

JOB SKILLS & FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

• University degree from engineering departmants preferably from Industrial Engineering or Management Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in production or planning
• High skills for decision making, planning and organisation
• Fluency in English verbally and in written
• Experience with ERP systems
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle complex topics
• Resident in Bolu or closby
