• Bachelor’s Degree,
• Min 3 years of academic advising or academic counseling experience,
• Min 3 years of customer service experience,

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills with student and staff populations.
• Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite, and database usage.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students and staff.
• Ability to create and act on academic reports and forecasts.
• Ability to interact effectively as either a leader or as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
• Ability to listen to students and to understand and respond positively to their requests.
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.

İŞ TANIMI

• Advises students on academic, career and personal issues; identifies the educational and career options appropriate for each student and assists with the analysis of each option, including possible outcomes.
• Identifies options for student to satisfy degree requirements; evaluates and makes recommendations on petitions and amendments to student's program of study; assists students in completion.
• Maintains student files and records; documents all pertinent student information.
• Interprets and explains college and university policies and procedures.
• Identifies options for student to satisfy specific degree requirements; evaluates and makes recommendations on petitions and adjustments to student's program of study
• Assists students with admission and registration/provides guidance in course selection in keeping with the student's interests, values and abilities.
