Job Description

As the Accounts receivable of Scorpios Bodrum, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing accounts and billing and following up with any customer or supplier with outstanding payments. You will also provide administrative and clerical support to ensure that books are always current and accurate so that management can make effective business decisions.

·        Appropriate Documentation: Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.

·        Aging the Records: Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.

·        Cash Management: Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.

·        Monitoring and Controlling:Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.

·        Reports and Figures: Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to accounts receivable to lead Finance management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing.

·        Creating Invoices: Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers and suppliers.

·        Financial Statements: Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

·        Confidentiality: Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

·        Other duties as assigned by your direct manager.

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience in Finance Assistance or relevant role, in the Hospitality Industry.
• Turkish Nationality.
• Degree in Finance, Economy.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required; familiarity with Finance Systems will be considered a plus.
• Good command of the English language. Knowledge of additional languages will be viewed as a beneficial skill.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment of a face passed environment.
• Extrovert personality with strong interpersonal and people skills, complemented by excellent organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and the ability to remain efficient under pressure.
