QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a "Purchasing Specialist" for Samandıra location. 

·         Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer preferably

·         At least 1 year of working experience with handling orders or knowledge in and interest towards purchasing process

·         Having strong analytical, communication, social and negotiation skills, 

·         Able to be strong and effective team member, 

·         Having B type valid driving licience,

·         Excellent command of English both written and spoken, 

·         Good command of SAP, MS Office (especially Excel) applications,

·         No military service obligation for the male candidates, 

 JOB DESCRIPTION 

·         Purchases goods, services to meet customer requirements at an optimal cost and schedules supplier deliveries based on requirements

• Obtains quotations as required from suppliers and verify costs according to engineering changes in projects  
• Developing strategies for Field Services purchasing activities.
• Ensures that all released purchase orders are sent to suppliers and are confirmed following the required turn-around time.
• Resolves invoice issues, coordinates with Procurement Manager / Counterparts on the reasons of the discrepancy, adjusts system information when necessary.
• Maintains reports and trend analysis schedules as required to track major objectives in Purchasing.
• Visit to domestic and foreign companies when necessary.
• Realizing contracts with subcontractor
