Responsibilities

• Defining  and implementation  of the validation and verification workflow for autonomous driving  hardware and software platforms 
• Work with external teams to implement the validation automation process and drive the process with internal teams with High-Fidelity 6 DOF Motion based Driving Simulator.
• Develop software integration and engage in hardware validation and system bring-up and testing.
• Support software design workflow by setting up toolchains, developing automation scripts, and integrating the developed process into team-wide workflow
• Define, develop, and maintain the test-plans for HW validation, SIL and HIL test processes
• Integrate embedded software components to a system level software stack.

Required Skills and Experience

• BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 3+ years hands-on development of low-level embedded system software
• 4+ years hands-on development of test automation, HW validation, or SW testing
• Hands-on experiences with C or C++, or scripting language such as Python or Bash
• Hands-on experiences with communication I/O protocols such as Ethernet, PCIE, CAN, I2C

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with real-time CPU architecture.
• Hands-on experience with GPU architecture such as Cuda , is a plus.
• Familiar with automotive V&V methodology, workflow, and process.
• Familiar with AutoSAR software protocol, tools, and workflow.
• Hands-on experiences with SIL testing tools and HIL testing tools.
• Familiar with ISO 26262 process certification.
• Hands-on experiences with board bring-up, firmware debugging, board troubleshooting.
