Job Description

• Execute a diverse range of technical duties, encompassing installation, repair, troubleshooting, and calibration of various instrumentation, such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters, solenoid valves, control valves, SDVs, and BDVs within oil & gas facilities.
• Ensure adherence to standards, tolerances, and specifications throughout all work procedures.
• As a Senior Instrument Specialist, assume a significant level of accountability for the secure and punctual completion of allocated tasks in the field.
• Prepare Permit to Work (PTW) and additional requisite documentation as necessitated by the job specifications.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform effectively under pressure and exhibit flexibility to work in diverse environmental conditions.
• Operate with minimal supervision, offering guidance to company technicians as required, and actively support and mentor junior technicians in their professional development.
• To be able to take on assignments abroad.

Educational Level and Training:

Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Diploma in Instrumentation & Controls, HNC/HND, or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience:

• At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in the Oil and Gas sector, specifically in roles such as Automation Maintenance Senior Technician or equivalent.
• Proficiency in the installation, commissioning, and upkeep of field instruments and control valves.
• Familiarity with essential documents like PFD, P&ID, Logic & Loop diagrams, and the ability to review datasheets and instrument indices as part of daily job responsibilities.
• Strong command of both written and verbal English, alongside competence in using basic MS Office software.
