Legal and Compliance Advisor

The Legal and Compliance Adviser reports to the CEO and to the Group Compliance Officer for his Compliance activity.

Job Description:

Legal responsibilities:

• Drafting/revising commercial, hr and capex related contracts; basic legal documentation of the Company
• Advising on basic legal matters of the Company
• Internal review of company procedures and regulations 
• Overview of Companies’ KVKK (Law on Protection on personal Data) procedures and compliance
• Legal reporting to Group Level 

Compliance responsibilities: 

•      Monitoring the local implementation and proper understanding of the Group Compliance policies in the Company, adapting it to local laws and regulations; identifying necessary improvements;
•        Helping in setting up, maintaining and revising practical implementation of the Compliance rules, procedures and mechanisms within the Company
•        Preparing the risks mapping and planned actions for non-compliance
•        Carrying out due diligence/ KYC on third parties in accordance with the Policy
•       Reporting and monitoring of any incident relating to a potential or proven non-compliance with the policy, until the closing of the file;
•        Providing a periodic reporting on compliance to the Company and to Group level

•        Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable University
•        At least 3 years legal experience in a reputable Law firm or in a Corporate setting
•        Previous experience in Compliance related position/work is an asset
•        Excellent English (spoken and written) as legal  
•        Previous experience training others is an advantage
•        Good attention to detail and analytical skills
•        Ability to work independently on own initiative, assess risk and make plans accordingly
•        Excellent communication skills
