QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a

 

Customer Service- Supply Chain

(Istanbul)

 

Provide accurate and timely information to customers before, during and after a transaction to maintain and improve customer relationships.

 

Search for Qualifications;

  • University or vocational school degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Professional manner towards customer needs
  • Strong planning and organizing competencies combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under stress
  • Export, Import and Customs clearance procedure knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications 
  • Good knowledge of SAP applications
  • Fluent in English and Turkish - written and spoken
  • No military obligation for male candidates
  • Residence in Asian side

 

Key Tasks;

  • Work on the customer order process to ensure orders are planned and delivered accurately and efficiently. This includes import and export processes, sampling and trials and control of customer terms and conditions.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and forward to other departments as required. Be proactive in analyzing customer activities to identify recurring problems and recommend solutions to improve customer service.  
  • Collaborate with head office, internal stakeholders and customers on order management, sales, purchasing, customer accounts inquiries, and logistics, as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all other relevant sales and customer related activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and ensure accurate data is entered to SAP.  
  • Prepare reports for the Sales Managers and Head Office. 
  • Provide back up support to absent employees as directed
  • Support of the import, transport and handling of dangerous goods including emergency response services.
  • Knowledge in the regulatory and national requests in dual use/dangerous goods.
  • Organization of the transport of shipments from port to customer. Regular contact to the service provider/transport companies.
  • Regular communication/exchange with customs authorities, port authorities, customs broker etc.
  • Support in the organization of customer visits, local customer events etc.
  • Use of CRM tool for regulatory topics (Responsible Care Check) and the management of complaints.
