Senior Copywriter

Requirements:

• Preferably a bachelor’s degree in related field,
• 5 or more years related experience with consumer brands in an well-known advertising agency,
• English is a must, French is a plus other languages are also a plus,
• A demonstrated talent and imagination for creating outstanding brand communication,
• Extraordinary skills with both headline, body copy and content,
• An experience with online content creation (websites, social, etc.),
• A motivated, self-starter, action oriented can-do attitude,
• Enthusiasm for collaboration across disciplines and an ability to take ownership of work,
• An ability to juggle multiple projects, stick to deadlines and ensure extraordinary output.

• The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for coming up with outstanding ideas to create brand preference and ways to best express them.
• Helps devise original, strategically sound and engaging communication, working cross functionally with other teams members,
• Solicits “the right information” upfront translating to a better product the first time.
• Where necessary, challenges preconceptions and proposes alternative approaches or solutions where these will more effectively achieve the objectives identified in the brief,
• Attends briefing sessions and discusses brand strategy and purpose of the brief with the appropriate members of the brand/project management teams,
• Takes active role in strategy development, and is a natural member of the UX research team,
• Prepares scripts for web content, social media, broadcast, print or web projects, annual reports, manifesto copies, executive speeches and editorial copies to name a few,
• Expresses thorough understanding of a client’s business as well as their competitor’s,
• Keeps up with culture trends, competition and target customer mindsets,
• She/he will assume responsibility for typo-ridden copies of communication output.
