Gates is the one of the leading company in Automotive Industry all over the world.

We are looking for Production Manager for our engine hose facility in Kemalpaşa matching with below qualifications;

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering departments
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the rubber and/or automotive industry
• Min. 7 years in management positions in automotive industry
• To have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Having knowledge and an experience in the processes of Lean Production, ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Having effective communication and interpersonal skills in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• To undertake the responsibility of planning, auditing, monitoring and improving the activities that will meet the external and internal customer expectations and ensure continuous improvement in line with the company's vision, strategic goals, policy and working ethics policy.
• To develop methods to use production resources (employee, machinery and equipment) in the most efficient way.
• To ensure that the work under its responsibility to be performed in the desired quantity and quality and at the right time in accordance with the work schedule and to be reported.
• To perform the production process according to the production plans given by the Planning Department and to inform the Planning Department when the production plan cannot be met.
• To perform the monitoring and inspecting of the daily activities, determining the problems that may occur and finding the solutions.
• To ensure the production process is to be performed in such way to minimize the defective products in terms of technical and economic factors. To direct the material, process and information flow.
• To ensure that the information and the training about the tools to be used and the methods to be applied by the operators are given.
• To investigate and detect the cause of the problem, take measures to prevent the repetition of the problem and, work on the change of the application causing the problem by cooperating with the related departments.
• To investigate the non-conforming situations which are reported by the customers in written or verbally and work with Project and Quality Departments cooperatively to take actions that are appropriate for the root cause.
• To ensure that the malfunctioned machine is to be accepted in a good order, and to monitor it operates under the proper safety conditions. To work cooperatively with the Maintenance Department to follow the Annual Machinery Maintenance Plan properly.
• To ensure that the measurement and test equipment in its department are being used in such way clean and carefully.
• To organize the working conditions of the operators according to the occupational safety and security rules.
• To take part in training activities to increase the quality awareness of the employees.
• To be responsible for that the cleaning and maintenance works of the production facility are to be carried out, and that the 5S activities are to be performed.
• To inspect the separating and collecting processes of waste according to the Waste Management Plan.
• To inform the employees about the effects on product quality, and in the event of nonconforming products, risks affecting the customers.
• To make on-site visits to verify that products, processes, and services from external sources comply with internal and external customer requirements.
• To report the need for change related to its department to the Management Representative and ensure the integrity of the management system in the event of the change.
