Occupational Health and Safety Engineer

University Degree in Food Engineering , Chemical Engineering , Environmental Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, 

 Preferably experience in processes of food manufacturing especially at multinational company, 

 Excellent command of both written and spoken English,

 Candidates should have at least a Class C certificate,

 Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office,

 Excellent communication and organisation skills, 

 Good interpersonal skills, positive, self motivated, team oriented, proactive, dynamic, creative,

 Good knowledge of safety requirements and able to act in continuous improvement projects,

 Strongly developed analytical, organizational and time management competencies, 

 Open minded attitude, 

 Having driving license and no restriction for travelling, 

 Residing in Karamürsel, Altinova, Yalova, Gölcük or Değirmendere.

• Lead and drive AFI Safety First Program to assure compliance with all applicable 
• Local and State laws Assure all Safety First principles Values and policies are implemented and followed 
•  Assist the plant manager in driving a Safety First culture focused on zero accidents / incidents under the Operational Excellence platform 
•  Drive continuous improvement in all areas of safety management including strategic KPl's 
•  Work closely with site leaders as necessary to enhance their overall safety performance and compliance 
•  Serve as the company liaison with Local, State and Federal agencies as necessary. 
•  Responsible for the organization and management of Industrial Engineering practices that will provide a balanced program throughout the organization aligned with the company’s strategic objectives 
•  Drive continuous improvement projects in a lead role for key strategic projects such as material losses, new product commercialization, productivity initiatives etc. 
•  Define methodology and set strategy for Company Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement Program
