QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a “Marketing and Sales Director” for one of our clients, operating in Electrical & Electronic Manufacturing sector.

Position is located in Ankara.

The main priorities and responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

  • Assuming full responsibility for setting and achieving strategic sales and marketing objectives
  • Growing the business and ensuring the continued profitability of the company
  • Developing a commercial strategy and vision to achieve department KPI’s (such as sales volumes, margins, new quotations, new sales)
  • Continuing to grow the business through existing and new channels in domestic and direct export markets as well as expanding the OEM business with sister companies in the group
  • Developing and driving a clear go to market strategy aligned to the focus application areas. Assuming overall responsibility for brand management, market and stakeholder analysis, product management and marketing and sales activities.
  • Experienced in developing strategies based on market analysis, competitive issues, trends in the industry, and potential opportunities
  • Creating and sustaining good relations with stake holders inside and outside of the company
  • Ability to understand customer needs from an overall market perspective as well as in individual customer dialogs. Able to serve and build value-added relationships with customers.
  • Managing, coaching and growing the marketing and sales teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business / economics or engineering fields
  • Min. 10+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing of technically more complex B2B environments
  • Experienced in delivering results in a similar international or well-known local organizations
  • Strong track record as a people manager including team leadership and people development
  • High integrity and a strong drive to succeed
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to combine strategic planning with hands on actions and responsibility
  • A great communicator at all levels
  • Pro-active and results orientated
  • Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
  • Builds and maintains management processes for delivering results
  • Bottom line focused and a modern self-starter with high energy levels
  • Fluent Turkish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement (other languages will be plus).
