QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

Provide first level contact, accept and record in the HelpDesk system requests from users to perform the processing of requests,

Register incidents. Implement operational assistance to employees troubleshooting identify locate and correct errors (failures). Raise and resolve important issues. Escalate request to other IT Staff,

Walk users through problem solving process,

Assist in the implementation of a set of solutions to the problems,

Provide support and consulting employees on matters relating to computers and software,

Prepare local user’s instructions,

Comply with information security requirements, provide employees with information on compliance with information security requirements, assist in conducting checks on information security,

Provide information to employees on general issues in IT,

Perform the installation and configuration hardware and software for users, approved by the Company's policy. Assist in setup and clean up computers. Install computer peripherals for users,

Install new office workplaces and to carry out the transfer of existing ones,

Identify and troubleshoot computers and office equipment, send the equipment for repair to the service center, to carry out a service engineers under service or warranty contracts,

Assist in the maintenance of local office communication. Advise employees on matters relating to the use of office communication equipment, including office telephones, faxes and softphones. Advise employees on mobile communication,

Assist in the selection of local office Internet and Communication providers, perform work related to the maintenance of these contracts,

Keep records of equipment, inventory records, maintain records of changes in the settings of user’s equipment, computers and office equipment,

Carry out the purchase and registration of consumables to ensure the smooth functioning of printers and copiers, computers. Carry out the paperwork (receipts/ expenditure) and accounting for equipment and consumables in the IT warehouse. Assist in the selection of vendors,

Assist in the selection of software and hardware, required by the companies to meet the demand,

Carry out assistance to the annual inventory of IT equipment,


General Qualifications

Undergraduate degree, Bachelor’s (or equivalent) preferred in Computer science, information science, or a related field,

Good organizational and communication skills,

One or more years of related experience with computers and providing customer service in a technological environment. 

English language level enough for text reading and understanding is mandatory.

Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Student), Master’s(Graduate)
