QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems through qualifications and/or experience
- Excellent fault-finding skills
- At least 5 years experiences in programming PLCs and control equipment for major projects
- Able to demonstrate good working knowledge of SCADA systems, PC programmes, server based operating systems and networks
- Allen Bradley Control Logix, Wonderware System Platform & In Touch knowledges are preferred
- Basic skills in high-level language programming is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, able to work as a team member, with both management and front-line groups
- Able to train Shift/System Technicians in fault analysis, root cause failure analysis and rectification, and high level systems fault recovery
- Good command of English
- Ability to prioritize goals and objectives
- Ability to work on own initiative, self motivated
- Maintain the site PLC and SCADA systems, ensuring targets for availability and data integrity are met, and compliance to business standards and audits is maintained
- Implement software changes to the system to deliver plant and business requirements
- Project manage the delivery of control system projects through appointed System Integrators
- Support the Frontline teams on technical breakdowns
- Provide training for System/Shift technicians on all aspects of the computer control systems

Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Student), Master’s(Graduate), Doctorate(Student), Doctorate(Graduate)
Completed, Exempt
