At Gokkusagi Schools – ISTANBUL(Bahcelievler) campus, at Middle & High School level,  we are looking for a Spanish teacher who is passionate about the Spanish language and teaching. The employment will start on Feb 2024, in the second term of the academic year. The ideal candidates will have a strong command of the Spanish language and be able to effectively communicate with students. They will be responsible for planning and teaching Spanish classes, as well as developing curriculum and assessment tools. The Spanish teacher will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment in the classroom.

Duties and Responsibilities

·      Develop and deliver enagaging Spanish language lessons to students

·      Plan, prepare, an execute Spanish language learning activities in line with curriculum requirements

·      Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their language skills,

·      Maintain up-to-date records of student performance and development

·      Stay abreast of new developments in the field of Spanish language teaching

·      Attend professional development workshops and conferences to enhance their teaching skills

·      Develop positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues

·      Participate in extracurricular activities related to Spanish language and culture

·      Serve as a mentor to new Spanish teachers

·      Collaborate with other members of the language department to develop innovative teaching methods

·      Organize cultural events and trips for students

 Required Skills and Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, education or related field 

·      Fluency in Spanish

·      Experience teaching Spanish to students is a plus

·      Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop lesson plans

·      Strong classroom management skills

·      Ability to use technology in the classroom
