Mining Manager ( Kırsehir)

Omya is a leading global producer of industrial minerals – mainly fillers and pigments derived from calcium carbonate and dolomite – and a worldwide distributor of specialty chemicals. We seek for Mining Manager and the ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications and skills:
The position will be based in Kırşehir.

General Qualifications

·        Graduated from Mining Engineering

·        At least 5 years of experience in Industrial Raw Material and Minerals production (Open Pit Mines)

·        Experience in maintenance and able to create maintenance plan.

·        Able to implement, follow and evaluate integrated management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS) Omya Sustainability Systems.

·        Having at least C Class Certificate of Health and Safety

·        Having Mining Permanent Supervisor Certificate,

·        Having Blasting B Class certificate,

·        Having B Class Driving license,

·        Good command of English Language

·        Able to use of  MS Office

·        Good communication skills, self disciplined, self motivated and open to learn

·        Able to work with the teams

·        Team Leader

·        Design, implement and monitor facility projects.

·        Ensure the most efficient and productive mining production by proper planning and design activities.

·        Monitor and analyze mining production including implementation to comply with the plan.

·        Plan, recommend, and coordinate mining process, type, and capacity of haulage equipment.

·        Layout and direct quarry construction operations.

·        Prepare regular production reports on mine operations. Provide data for budgeting and cost follow up.

·        Follow up new investments as a project engineer.

·        Follow up of the legal requirements needed for Mining Activities and build good relations with legal authorities,

·        Prepare Mining Projects for new Mining Licenses and for License time extension legal purposes,
