OKIDA is looking colleagues for a “Purchasing Specialist”

QUALIFICATIONS

·        University degree in Electronic Engineering or related field ,

·        Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing Department or General Affairs department,

·        Fluent English knowledge is a must, Italian knowledge is preferable,

·        Knowledge of SAP ,

·        Knowledge of MS Office programs,

·        Reliable and responsible team player,

·        Problem solving approach,

·        No military obligation for male candidates,

·        Live/Willing to live in Istanbul.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·        Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of services, general supplies, direct - indirect materials,

·        Actively communicate with the business stakeholders to ensure that their purchase requirements are met in a timely manner

·        Perform all necessary procurement operations activities – vendor creation, purchase order process,  shipment and delivery follow up and technical issue resolution

·        Ensure up to date SAP for procurement transactions and master data

·        Investigate opportunities for cost improvement, search for alternative sources

·        Create purchasing contracts and follow up contract compliance

·        Participate in the process of supplier evaluation, selection and management

·        Keep all data relevant to purchasing department

·        Prepare various reports for management
