QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The Online B2B Travel "Sales Representative" will require an experienced sales person with a can-do sales attitude and strong business development skills to increase new business as well as manage existing clients. This role will be working in a face-to-face sales environment so will require a strong sales person with experience presenting and hitting targets. (No Office work expected - almost full time outside) In addition to hitting targets, it will work on an existing customer base to increase sales as well as identify new areas of opportunity for business development within the Turkish market (knowledge of Turkish B2B travel agency market would be ideal).

Main responsibilities will include relationship managing and building relationships with existing clientele, working closely with the Sales Manager and team to advise on strategy and new business plans as well as attending any events or meetings both national and abroad. This role will initially be a 2 months trial period contract to going permanent. 

Skills:
- Background in sales and business development within an online bed-bank / airline / railway is ideal.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a face to face sales environment
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative in a sales environment.
- A highly driven and enthusiastic sales professional
- Ability to travel nationally for extended periods of time.
- A proven record of negotiating and securing new business verbally over the telephone and face to face.

-  No military obligation for male candidates / at least 2 years postponement

Key Responsibilities: (not limited to)

  • Assist in the achievement of the company’s annual corporate sales revenue targets
  • Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
  • Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions including competitor's updates.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, trade shows, etc.
  • Attend major travel / trade function as assigned.
  • Be environmental friendly, reduce waste, recycle when possible, and reuse whenever applicable.
  • Use of the CRM to report all activities and follow up closely the production of all customers.

 

*This job consist of 90% out of office customer visits. No Company car will be given, transport expenses will be covered. Candidates with sales experienceto Travel Agencieswill be prioritized.
