R&D Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Primary responsibilities include execution (and managing) of engineering related tasks during product development from concept to launch. This will include working together with R&D, Manufacturing, RA/QM and Clinical Affairs professionals at the Company's international sites in Turkey, Germany and Sweden. Moderate travel may be required. Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Develop novel medical devices
• Prepare and establish, testing procedures, protocols, reports, and integrated summaries as necessary.
• Perform design verification/validation studies and bench testing according to international guidelines.
• Manage testing performed by third parties.
• Support technical aspects during the preparation of CE mark and international registration documentations
• Work according to existing SOP's, guidelines, and protocols related to existing development projects.
• Work in cross functional teams in activities pertaining to R&D, RA, Quality and clinical activities to assure timely execution of projects and tasks
• Update R&D manager and site-management on product development priorities, plans, budgets, timetables, progress and bottlenecks
