Company introduction

Normod is a digitally native furniture brand setting global standards for design, technology and customer experience.

Traditional is not good enough. We understand the need for a better home experience. Hence, we focus on technology and design to improve this experience. We design adoptable products, manufacturing methods, delivery methods and digital experiences.

We are a small team building the furniture brand of coming decades. We’re continuously looking for passionate, courageous and talented minds.

In the beginning of 2020 we were a team of 2 employees, now our headcount is more than 120 and we are rapidly growing. Our aim is to disrupt furniture market globally by designing; smart furniture, digital experience, logistics solutions, visual content and many more. We have our own factory, we have patents and we use top global technology tools.

Responsibilities

•    Make purchase requests taking into consideration the stock in hand and follow up the procurement process to maintain the continuity of manufacturing

•    Ensure that goods/services are purchased with the required qualifications at the desired time and at the right price

•    Ensure that raw materials, consumables, and other needs are available in the desired amount, time, and place

•    Compare the prices between the suppliers that the same products are purchased from

•    Find and report potential alternative suppliers that are probable to work with us in the future

•    Carry out various cost analyses within the scope of purchasing activities

•    Manage and develop supplier relationships

Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree from universities, preferably in engineering or related fields

•    Preferably 1-3 years of experience in purchasing roles

•    Good command of written and spoken English

•    Able to use MS Office programs at an excellent level

•    Having analytical problem-solving skills

•    Adaptable to a flexible working environment and company culture

•    Organization, problem-solving skills, and advanced technical understanding specific to their company's field

•    Good interpersonal and communication skills

•    Critical communication and negotiation skills
