QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Leading international manufacturer of wind turbines worldwide, present in several countries across the world seeks qualified Engineers within the development of its activities in Hatay to fill the owing position in field operations in;

Essential Experiences, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or in-depth field experience in the wind energy sector with work experience of a minimum of three years,
  • Experience in management and supervising (deployment of staff, motivating) and coordinating/controlling subcontractors,
  • Knowledge of country-specific laws and regulations (e.g. labor law, HSE regulations),
  • Strong customer focus and orientation,
  • Excellent in planning, organizing, systematic problem solving and end to end thinking,
  • Willing to travel on a regular basis,
  • Excellent English language skills,
  • Computer literate, able to use MS Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Service Technicians / Commissioners / Supervisors to ensure completion of their allocated service activities within the specified time frames and to the required standards (corrective, preventive, retrofit, IRT, etc.),
  • Controlling and communication to Field Operations Manager the administrative works related with technicians (overtimes, expenses, annual leaves, etc.),
  • Ensuring HQ support and continuous communication with Acciona experts from Spain for all Acciona parks,
  • Ensure reporting of wind park availability and customer communication of reports,
  • Communicate with the customer and follow up on customer requests,
  • Coordinate and control subcontractors,
  • Participation of recruitment and development of Service Technicians including identification of training needs and delivery of on-site training and coaching on best practice to create and maintain a high performing team,
  • Process improvement (QA and QC procedures)
  • Cost controlling of site activities
  • Participation in turbine interventions when needed on complex cases or for controlling purpose in all Acciona turbines.
