Production Supervisor

Nitto Bento Bantçılık San. ve Tic. A. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan' s listed leading diversified materials manufacturer Nitto. We are currently accepting applications for our plant in Esenyurt/Istanbul where we produce and market closure tapes & frontal tapes for baby and adult diapers, as well as packaging tapes, protective tapes for window profile, external facade panels, aluminum and steel plates sectors. 

We are looking for Production Supervisor for our production facility. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position, 

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret production data,

 • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, 

• Excellent command of written and spoken English, 

• Excellent MS Office applications, 

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, 

• Excellent team player, organized, pro-active and creative,

 • Completed military service for male applicants, 

• Eager to learn and get experienced in a growing production facility, 

• Familiar with continuous improvement and operational excellence initiative, 

• Solid knowledge of production processes, 

• Resistance to stress, organized working style, as well as developed leadership skills, 

• Team work oriented, strong follow-up, time management and coordination ability. 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Monitor, control and take initiatives for corrective actions to achieve better KPI’s, 

• Manages a team of production staff, 

• Project management if he/she is assigned to a potential project, 

• Work with the team to analyze root causes of downtimes and develop actions to reduce, 

• Analysis of manpower needs, 

• Control and monitor standard operating procedures, 

• Conduct trainings for operators on related systems, 

• Conduct and organize internal audits.
